It will not magically break in a glove for you, but it will assist with the process. It is also not that messy if you are careful with the bottle. A few drops in the palm of the glove after wiping the glove down with a damp cloth worked well for me. I then put several drops in my hand and applied that to the rest of the glove. Secure the glove with a a ball in the pocket and a couple of rubber-bands around outside and leave overnight. Next day results were noticeable and the glove was much more limber. Do this several times through the break-in of the glove for maximum results.
