(More customer reviews)In my years as a professional chef, I was accustomed to use a safety glove of mesh steel so you can imagine that I was a bit dubious about a fabric alternative.However, after a number of sessions with a mandolin, I can assure you that it provides ample protection.It is light in weight, easily cleaned, and comfortable.It is, however, a bit on the small side so that I have to wrestle my hand into and out of it.My hands may be a bit larger than most but are by no means huge.So if you have big paws, be prepared to feel that you are putting on a girdle.
In short, a quality product that can save you nicks and cuts while improving your speed with a knife or mandolin.
