(More customer reviews)The gloves are EXTREMELY tacky, but can lose their grip relatively quickly.Luckily, the tackiness will come back if you throw some water on the gloves.I think the dirt and junk that comes with playing is what makes the gloves feel less tacky after a while.The biggest problem I have with these gloves is that they don't give the thumbs enough room to move, and I actually broke my thumb because of it.I couldn't stretch the thumb back far or fast enough and the ball came right into it.But not all of the blame goes on the gloves, just partial blame.Other gloves also have this problem, but maybe not to the same degree.This problem only warrants deducting one star from the rating because otherwise these are great gloves.Do NOT go small on these gloves, by the way.The perfect size glove for me would be between a small and medium so I opted for small... bad choice.At the end of the day, I'd be inclined to buy these again, in Medium.
