(More customer reviews)I have been a serious rider since about 1980. I raced bicycles (road) in my younger days. I've been riding mountain bikes exclusively since 1994. I've owned a lot of glovesduring this time from a multitude of makers. These are the best mountain bike gloves I've owned. They are well made, comfortable, grip well and last. I am on my third pair in 12 years. That's 4 years per pair of 3x per week riding single track in the Sierras. As they are not "comfort" gloves, there is not any real padding in them, but the palms and fingers have a good feel for the brakes, grip and shifter. I have never had a problem with my hand slipping off the handlebar or climbing bars even in the rain and snow.$40.00 is a steep price and I will wait for a sale, but when one comes I won't hesitate in buying another pair.
