(More customer reviews)"Mares" is one of the best manufacturer's of SCUBA equipment around.My second choice in gloves would be Parkway, which are also good.Mares gloves are 5mm, which is perfect for cold water diving.You should never use gloves on warm water dives - stay away and don't touch anything.(One tiny bit of skin oil can destroy millions of coral.You also don't want to have a nice moray to bite the tip of your finger).Mares are very elastic, yet tight enough so you can grab things easily with absolutely no slippage (check out the palms).Instead of the normal Velcro strap, this model uses what they call a `glide skin', which keeps the cold water out.Very good glove!
