(More customer reviews)This is an awesome glove. Bought it for my 9 yr old son who is in the transitional league. That is the league after tee ball and before little league. My son used the Mizuno ballpark size 11 prior to this one. That glove was the best for a boy age 6-8 years. It has a power close hinge and soft durable leather which makes it very easy to break in. It was pretty much broken in when purchased. Mizuno gloves seem to run a little larger than others in my opinion. If you want a great first glove then at least look at that glove. Usually under $30. Enough about that glove. The Easton tb81 glove is a great replacement for growing boys. It seems to run a little smaller than other youth 12 inch gloves that we have tried, we liked that feature because most of the 12 inch gloves were sloppy on his hand. The leather is soft and easy to break in and has a great palm pad for hard throws. My son plays outfield and the open web allows him to see through the glove for pop ups or fly balls. It has a comfortable snug fit when his hand is inside. I highly recommend this glove for ages 9 up. There is just a slight difference from the tb81 and the tb61 which is an 11.5 inch
