(More customer reviews)Installation requires you to remove the existing ferrule at the base of the grip frame where the take down rod is stored. This requires a properly sized rolled pin punch, which I have but some users may not. I was surprised that this grip does not cover the back grip frame, but leaves the steel exposed and in contact with your hand. The grip does not fit properly either. There are gaps between the rubber material and the revolver frame. Especially at the top of the grip around the "horn" of the frame. This created, in my opinion, a somewhat insecure feel to the grip. I was disappointed with the quality of the material. The hardware was somewhat "flimsy" and the molded checkering in the grip was inconsistent. I guess you get what you pay for. I reinstalled my Pachmyr grips.
