I had to bend the mouthguard before I molded it to my teeth to fit my jaw shape but front gel was so thick that it fit rather uncomfortably in my mouth. I was unable to shut my mouth all the way which forced me to sleep with my mouth open and I never woke up with it in my mouth, so I couldn't tell if it even did the job. I read the directions for molding it about 10 times before I did it and I even tried RE-molding it to see if I did it wrong, and it didn't take as well the second time because when I boiled it again, the gel didn't go back to its original shape, so it oozed through the side holes instead of going up to form to my gums. Not too impressed.
